Uli Gebhard has been teaching firearms classes for almost a decade. He began with basic NRA courses and worked continuously to integrate more advanced and effective material. After several classes with Suarez International, he took the opportunity to join the team of staff instructors.

Uli keeps adding to his teaching qualifications and offers classes for pistol, rifle, knife and HRO-CQB.

Since he is located in California, he and his students are facing firearm restrictions that limit features and selection of weapons. Uli turned these challenges into opportunites:

- He adapted the Kalashnikov curriculum for the Saiga, the only version of this rifle that can be used without restrictions in California.

- The same challenges led him to develop a curriculum for the lever action platform. This material was the base for the Lever Action Rifle Gunfighting DVD, which was produced in 2010.

- He is also teaching Defensive Knife Classes - a viable alternative to firearms in CA where many counties do not issue CCW's.

Uli's lives in Orange County and teaches primarily in the greater Los Angeles area, but is also available for training in Bakersfield and Sacramento.
