Detailed Description
October 21-22, 2010
Kalashnikov Rifle - Zero To 300 yards
Chapman, Kansas
In this new class we will be dealing with the Kalashnikov Platform from Zero to 300 Meters. We will get your rifle zeroed the Russian way, and then shoot it at CQB (Close Quarters Battle) distances...doing much of what we do in the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Kalashnikov classes. We will learn dynamic displacement methods and 360 degree coverage techniques that will make you a master of anything you can see out to the limit of your cartridge.
As well, we will do vehicle gunfighting with the Kalashnikov. Think "mounting" and "dismounting" the vehicles under arms, shooting from, and around the vehicles, conducting vehicle assaults and working with the weapons in a vehicle borne environment.
We will also shoot at 25 meter increments out to the battle sight zero and slightly beyond...maybe to 400 meters. And some shooting in darkness one of the nights. Applications of the above in a team environment will round out the remainder of the class. If we are lucky, we might even get to play with some "interesting" Kalashnikov family variants as well.
This class is taught by Gabe Suarez.
