DEFENSIVE FIREARMS - 3 GUN TUNEUP
Montgomery, Alabama
This is an intermediate level class which will prep you for more advanced courses involving the pistol, rifle and/or shotgun. The curriculum was designed to increase
your anti-personnel proficiency with the three most common weapon platforms in existence today. Issues common to all three including administrative duties, carry
methods and deployment and advantages / limitations of each will reviewed along with
plenty of aggressive, reality-based drills. The information presented is relevant to
civilian defenders, military or police enforcement officials and provides for an invaluable assessment of your skills.
Review the equipment list carefully - all rifles and shotguns must be equipped with a sling.

Pistol Ammo : Approximately 300 rounds
Rifle Ammo : Approximately 200 rounds
Shotgun Ammo : 25 rounds Birdshot, 25 rounds Buckshot, 10 Slugs

| YOU NEED TO BRING:
|
Spare clothing appropriate to the weather, lunch/snacks and water (minimum of 1 gallon per person) for the entire day, baseball or other style hat, sun screen, bug repellant, allergy medication (if needed), chair (if you have a problem with sitting on the ground, note taking paper/pen/pencil and a boo boo kit (bandaids, gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, antibiotic ointment and tape)

| REQUIREMENTS:
|
Pistol Requirements: Modern defensive pistol and a holster specifically made for that pistol (IWB is OK) and 3 magazines and magazine pouch
Rifle Requirements: Any type of rifle, 3 magazines and
ancillary rifle gear. Rifle must be equipped with a
sling.
Shotgun Requirements: Any action, bore or stock configuration is allowed, shotgun ammo pouches (butt
cuffs or sidesaddles are an acceptable alternative).
Shotgun must be equipped with a sling.
NOTE: Chest Rig/Tactical Vests are not allowed with CCW holsters. If you are using a Chest Rig or a Tactical
Vest, use a vest mounted holster or a thigh holster. Range safety gear including eye and ear protection is required. Elbow and knee pads are strongly suggested.
