John started hunting at age 7 and is a lifelong shooter. He teaches CCW courses in Ohio and is an NRA instructor as well. He has studied boxing and kickboxing for close to 30 years. He joined Suarez International in 2007 where he gets to integrate all of his shooting and fighting skills into a solid mix that he gets to pass onto his students.

He teaches a wide variety of SI classes including knife, pistol, and rifle. His home base is Ohio but travels anywhere to spread the SI way. He enjoys the “aha” moment from students when the light bulb goes on and they realize the potential of the SI material. He strives to teach his students to reach beyond what they thought possible at the beginning of class.
