COMBAT RIFLE MARKSMANSHIP

In this class you will learn how to fire an accurate shot with your semi auto military assault rifle. All types and calibers are welcome (AR-15, AK-47s, UZI, HK, etc.). You will learn all the basics of riflery from zeroing, the essential elements of insuring an accurate shot, as well as using ground and cover to enhance your effect downrange. This course is perfect for the new rifle owner, or as a tune up for an experienced rifleman.

PREREQUISITES:	NONE
AMMUNITION:	Approximately 150 rounds (Minimum)
YOU NEED TO BRING:	Spare clothing appropriate to the weather, lunch/snacks and water (minimum of 1 gallon per person) for the entire day, baseball or other style hat, sun screen, bug repellent, allergy medication (if needed), chair (if you have a problem with sitting on the ground, note taking paper/pen/pencil and a boo boo kit (band aids, gauze pads, antiseptic wipes, antibiotic ointment and tape)
REQUIREMENTS:	Rifle, sling, at least 2 magazines if using a semi-automatic, manner to carry extra ammo, pistol, holster and range safety gear

DIRECTIONS TO RANGE:	From the East: I-78 West to I-81 South. Take Exit 85. Turn left off exit onto Rt. 934 South to Annville (about 7 miles). Turn Right onto Rt. 422 West to Palmyra (about 4 miles). At 4th red light (Friendly’s Restaurant on right), turn right onto Forge Rd. Go 1.8 miles to Sportsmens Road. Follow Sportsmens Road 2/10 of mile to Club property. After passing under Club sign, take first road to right. Take I-76 (PA Turnpike) to Exit 266 Lebanon/Hershey (old Exit 20). Turn left off exit onto Rt. 72 to Rt. 322 West. At the 3rd red light, turn right onto Airport Road. Go to first red light. Go straight through onto Forge Road. Go 1.8 miles to Sportsmens Road. Follow Sportsmens Road 2/10 of mile to Club property. After passing under Club sign, take first road to right. From the West: Take I-76 (PA Turnpike) to Exit 247 Harrisburg East (old Exit 19). After going through toll booth, go straight ahead onto Rt./ 283 to Rt. 322 East. Follow 322 East to Rt. 422 East. Go through Hershey & Palmyra till you get to Forge Road (Friendly’s Restaurant on left/Klick Lewis car dealer on right). Turn left. Follow Forge Road 1.8 miles to Sportsmens Road. Take Sportsmens Road 2/10 miles to Club property. After passing under the Club sign, take the first road to the right. From the South: Take I-83 North to Harrisburg. Take Rt. 322 East to Rt. 422 East. Follow 422 East through Hershey and Palmyra till you get to Forge Road (Friendly’s Restaurant on left/Klick Lewis car dealer on right). Turn left. Follow Forge Road 1.8 miles to Sportsmens Road. Take Sportsmens Road 2/10 mile to Club property. After passing under the Club sign, take the first road to the right for the outdoor pistol ranges, sporting clays and competition rifle range. The first road to the left will lead you to the outdoor rifle range and straight ahead takes will take you to main parking lot and the clubhouse where the indoor archery, pistol and smallbore rifle ranges are located.
